- • Design, develop, maintain, and scale Coupa’s enterprise SaaS platform, deployment infrastructure, and core services as part of the global Platform Team.
- • Contribute to the development of platform systems and operational automation that serve as the backbone of Coupa’s SaaS application.
- • Write and maintain code in Ruby and Go, with the ability to effectively contribute in either language.
- • Collaborate within an agile team to build best-in-class SaaS capabilities that impact all Coupa customers globally.
- • Evaluate and introduce new technologies where they provide clear value to platform performance, scalability, or reliability.
- • Develop tools and frameworks that improve development processes, deployment efficiency, and system observability.
- • Work closely with Operations teams to ensure platform stability, security, and high availability.
- • Uphold high standards for code quality, system architecture, and delivery excellence across all platform components.
- • Participate in peer code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning to ensure alignment with team goals.
- • Build scalable, resilient, and secure services that support trillions of dollars in global spend data processed by Coupa AI.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation to enable rapid, reliable releases.
- • Ensure platform systems are optimized for performance, observability, and fault tolerance across distributed environments.
- • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- • Stay current with industry trends and emerging practices in cloud-native SaaS development and platform engineering.
- • Support incident response and root cause analysis for platform-level issues with a focus on prevention and automation.
- • Help define and enforce engineering best practices across the Platform Team, including testing, documentation, and monitoring.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in Ruby and/or Go for building scalable backend systems
- • Experience designing and maintaining SaaS platform infrastructure and services
- • Strong understanding of agile development practices and collaborative engineering workflows
