- • Software Engineer 2 role focused on building scalable platforms and services for Rula’s Revenue Cycle Management team, enabling critical business operations like payments, claims submission, and workflow optimization.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining reliable systems; collaborating with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders; applying product thinking and continuous improvement to solve complex operational challenges.
- • Rula Health is a remote-first mental healthcare company dedicated to reducing stigma and providing evidence-based, compassionate care; hiring across most U.S. states (excluding Hawaii) with a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- • The role offers opportunities to deepen expertise in full-stack development, system architecture, and lifecycle ownership while contributing to meaningful improvements in healthcare operations and patient outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Engineering discipline
- • 3+ years of professional engineering experience
- • Experience building highly responsive, scalable, reliable, available, and performant systems
- • Experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, execution, and post-launch maintenance
- • Intermediate understanding of modern application architecture, API design, data modeling, security, performance, scaling, and frontend architecture including component-based design and state management
