- • As a Software Engineer at CloudPay Limited, you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing the company’s global payroll platform, directly contributing to the mission of simplifying pay for employees worldwide through innovative, compliant, and scalable solutions.

- • You will analyze business and technical requirements, translating them into scalable technical designs and delivering new platform capabilities that meet evolving client needs across international markets.
- • You will provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for production systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of existing functionalities used by customers worldwide.
- • You will maintain high code quality by adhering to engineering standards, participating in code reviews, refactoring legacy components, and mentoring peers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- • You will proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to solution quality, functionality, performance, or other technical and business challenges, minimizing downtime and improving user satisfaction.
- • You will create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for new and enhanced features, system components, and APIs to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.
- • You will actively participate in all Agile ceremonies — including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews — to deliver user-ready functionality in iterative, high-value increments.
- • You will collaborate closely with a diverse, global team of engineers, product managers, customers, and stakeholders, leveraging modern collaboration tools to align technical execution with business objectives.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in backend development with Java and Kotlin, gain hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, and expand your knowledge of payroll and HR systems — positioning yourself for growth into senior technical or architectural roles within a fast-growing fintech leader.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of professional experience developing backend applications using Java and/or Kotlin
- • Strong proficiency with Java 17+ and the Spring / Spring Boot ecosystem
- • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- • Familiarity with development and deployment tools such as Maven, Bamboo, Git, JIRA, GitLab, and Bitbucket
- • Strong English communication skills, both written and conversational
- • Ability to adapt quickly and perform effectively under tight deadlines and fast-paced release cycles
