  • • As a Software Engineer at Flexera Software LLC, you will play a critical role in building and enhancing the company’s award-winning SaaS solutions that help enterprises optimize technology spend, improve compliance, and reduce risk across hybrid IT environments. Your work directly contributes to Flexera’s mission of enabling organizations to gain deep insights into cost optimization and business service performance through its Technology Intelligence Platform and Flexera One offerings.
  • • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices and web applications using modern cloud-native technologies, ensuring high product quality, security, and performance while participating in the full software development lifecycle from concept to production.
  • • Design, implement, and maintain microservices using Go (with training provided) and C# to support Flexera’s Technology Intelligence Platform and customer-facing applications.
  • • Develop and deploy applications on AWS and Kubernetes environments, leveraging infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration for scalable, resilient systems.
  • • Utilize monitoring and observability tools such as SumoLogic to track system performance, diagnose issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of services.
  • • Actively participate in agile development practices including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming, contributing to requirement decomposition, design discussions, estimation, and implementation.
  • • Engage in pair programming, rapid prototyping, and code reviews to foster knowledge sharing and maintain high coding standards across the team.
  • • Collaborate with product, UX, and architecture teams to translate customer use cases into technical solutions, including creating wireframes, architecture recommendations, and design documentation.
  • • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by updating wikis, documentation, and best practices to support team onboarding and continuous improvement.
  • • Continuously improve product quality, security, and performance through proactive refactoring, testing, and adherence to coding standards and security best practices.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience
  • • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with extensive experience in developing web applications
  • • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, particularly C#, and experience with microservice architectures
  • • Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, including deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud-native applications
  • • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reason about software performance, algorithms, and system design at a high level
  • • Superior communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English (advanced level required) to work effectively across distributed teams
