- • Software Engineer role at Henry Schein One, contributing to the development of Dentally, a leading dental practice management software used by thousands of dental professionals worldwide, helping shape how patients interact with their dental care through continuous innovation.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining web applications; owning full-stack development (front-end and back-end); building and maintaining API infrastructure for third-party integrations; collaborating with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders; and contributing to technical solutions that solve real-world business challenges in 6-week delivery cycles.
- • The team operates with a mission-focused, continuous delivery culture, shipping over 100 changes to production monthly, working in structured 6-week cycles to balance innovation, technical debt, and user impact, with direct influence on improving oral care services globally.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack development, gain hands-on experience with modern web technologies (Ruby on Rails, Ember.js, AWS, Heroku), strengthen your ability to own the product lifecycle, and grow as a self-driven engineer capable of delivering impactful, scalable solutions in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
- • Experience developing web applications using an object-oriented language like Ruby, with familiarity in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- • Experience working with Single Page Applications and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or preferably Ember.js
