• • Software Engineer, Agent at Vercel Inc. is a pivotal role focused on building the Vercel Agent—an AI-powered system that autonomously investigates, diagnoses, and remediates production issues, transforming how developers interact with infrastructure by making it self-driving and framework-defined.
• • Day to day, you will design and build agentic systems that coordinate across APIs, sandboxed code execution, and multi-step workflows; develop infrastructure for dynamic skill injection; ship user-facing experiences across Slack, dashboard, and CLI; collaborate on prompt engineering, model evaluation, and RAG pipelines; and work directly with product, design, and infrastructure teams to define and build the future of self-driving infrastructure.
• • Vercel is the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, empowering companies like Ramp, PayPal, and Under Armour to build for the AI-native web. The Agent team is small but high-impact, working closely with leadership to shape how infrastructure anticipates and resolves issues before users notice.
