- • As a Software Engineer, Agents at Harvey AI Inc., you will build the systems that make AI agents indispensable to legal professionals, directly contributing to transforming how legal and professional services operate through frontier agentic AI.
- • Day to day, you will partner with customers and product managers to understand legal workflows, design practical evaluations for agent excellence, optimize agent performance via prompt engineering and model selection, work with model infrastructure teams on low-latency execution, and improve observability to profile and enhance agent behavior.
- • You will join a sharp, motivated team at Harvey AI Inc., a company with 1000+ customers across 60+ countries, strong product-market fit, and world-class investor backing, operating with intensity and ownership to solve real problems in legal tech at scale.
- • In this role, you will learn to ship impactful agentic systems, drive adoption of emerging best practices in AI agents, and grow your expertise in LLM applications, evaluation-driven development, and high-stakes product delivery in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Passion for building effective domain-specific agents
- • Iterative mindset: developing proof of concepts, making quick decisions, and shipping v0s
- • Comfortable with using evaluations to drive quality in agent performance
- • 2-5 years (post-BS/MS) of software engineering experience
- • Proficiency in Python and experience working with LLM APIs and agent frameworks
- • Experience with shipping user-facing products, either on the backend or full-stack
