Software Engineer, AI (Java)

📋 Description

• • As a Software Engineer, AI (Java) at G2i Inc., you will play a critical role in training large language models (LLMs) to write production-grade code by evaluating, refining, and providing feedback on AI-generated Java code.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include comparing and ranking multiple code snippets for correctness, efficiency, and style; repairing and refactoring AI-generated code; and injecting detailed feedback (ratings, edits, test results) into the RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) pipeline to improve model performance.
• • You will work as part of a distributed, expert engineering team focused on advancing AI’s ability to produce reliable, ship-ready code — contributing directly to the development of AI tools that assist developers in real-world software engineering tasks.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Java code quality, strengthen your ability to articulate technical trade-offs, and gain hands-on experience in AI alignment and RLHF processes — all while working autonomously in a flexible, remote-first environment.
