📋 Description

• Train large language models (LLMs) to generate production-grade code across multiple programming languages by comparing, ranking, and justifying the superiority of one code snippet over another
• Repair and refactor AI-generated code to ensure correctness, efficiency, and adherence to style guidelines and best practices
• Inject feedback—including ratings, manual edits, and test results—directly into the reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) pipeline to improve model outputs
• Maintain the integrity and continuity of the RLHF feedback loop by consistently providing high-quality, actionable evaluations that translate into reward signals for model tuning
• Analyze generated code for logic errors, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities with rapid, accurate identification
• Communicate clear, detailed written justifications for code preferences, explaining why one implementation is superior in structure, readability, scalability, or safety
• Work autonomously in an asynchronous, low-oversight environment with minimal supervision, relying on documentation and language specifications to inform decisions
• Contribute to iterative model improvements by aligning feedback with real-world engineering standards and production codebases
• Operate as an independent contractor with flexible weekly hours ranging from a minimum of 15 to up to 40+ hours, contingent on project demand and availability
• Verify identity and confirm legal eligibility to work as an independent contractor in your country of residence as part of onboarding
• Engage in continuous feedback cycles where model performance is directly shaped by the quality, consistency, and precision of human evaluations

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in Python
• Strong code-review instincts with ability to identify logic errors, performance traps, and security issues
• Extreme attention to detail and excellent written communication skills for explaining code quality decisions
• Comfortable reading technical documentation and language specifications
• Ability to work autonomously in an asynchronous, low-oversight remote environment
• Valid documentation to work as an independent contractor in your country of residence
