📋 Description

• Train large language models (LLMs) to generate production-grade code across multiple programming languages by comparing, ranking, and justifying code snippets based on correctness, efficiency, and style
• Repair and refactor AI-generated code to meet production standards, correcting logic errors, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities
• Inject structured feedback—包括 ratings, edits, and test results—into the reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) pipeline to improve model outputs
• Ensure the RLHF feedback loop runs smoothly by consistently providing high-quality, actionable inputs that align with real-world engineering practices
• Evaluate code proposals from LLMs and articulate why one approach is superior to another using clear, precise written communication
• Work asynchronously in a low-oversight environment, managing your own time while meeting project deadlines and quality benchmarks
• Review and validate code against official language specifications and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with best practices
• Identify and flag edge cases, ambiguous implementations, or unreliable patterns in AI-generated code that could lead to production failures
• Collaborate indirectly with a distributed team of engineers by contributing to model training data through detailed, evidence-based evaluations
• Maintain consistency in feedback quality across diverse codebases, from systems-level Rust applications to cross-language software integrations
• Contribute to iterative model improvements by refining reward signals derived from your expert judgments and edits
• Operate with extreme attention to detail, ensuring every rating, edit, or comment enhances the model’s ability to emulate expert-level software engineering
• Adapt to varying project demands, with weekly hours ranging from 15 to 40+ depending on available work and client needs
• Maintain compliance with independent contractor requirements, including identity verification and valid documentation for your country of residence
• Deliver work through a contractor model with no guaranteed hours, employer sponsorship, or W-2 employment structure

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in Rust
• Strong code-review instincts to identify logic errors, performance traps, and security issues
• Extreme attention to detail and excellent written communication skills for explaining code quality decisions
• Comfortable reading and applying language specs and technical documentation
• Ability to thrive in an asynchronous, low-oversight remote environment
• Valid documentation to work as an independent contractor in your country of residence
