📋 Description

• Train large language models (LLMs) to generate production-grade code across multiple programming languages by comparing, ranking, and justifying the quality of code snippets.
• Repair and refactor AI-generated code to ensure correctness, efficiency, readability, and adherence to best practices in software design and style.
• Inject structured feedback—including ratings, edits, and test results—into the RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) pipeline to guide model learning and improvement.
• Clearly articulate why one code approach is superior to another, using precise written communication to document reasoning behind rankings and edits.
• Maintain the integrity and continuity of the RLHF feedback loop by consistently providing high-quality, actionable input that translates into reward signals for model tuning.
• Work independently in an asynchronous, low-oversight environment with minimal supervision, requiring strong self-direction and time management.
• Review and analyze code documentation and language specifications to accurately evaluate AI-generated outputs against official standards and conventions.
• Identify logic errors, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities in AI-generated code with high accuracy and speed.
• Collaborate remotely with a distributed team of engineers to improve the model’s ability to propose, critique, and refine code as a seasoned developer would.
• Ensure all feedback is actionable, consistent, and aligned with real-world production coding standards used in professional software development.
• Adapt to varying weekly workloads, with project-dependent hours ranging from a minimum of 15 to up to 40+ hours per week, without guaranteed continuity between projects.
• Maintain compliance with identity verification requirements and ensure valid documentation to operate as an independent contractor in your country of residence.
• Work exclusively as a 1099 independent contractor with no employer sponsorship, benefits, or W-2 employment structure.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in TypeScript
• Strong code-review instincts to detect logic errors, performance traps, and security issues
• Extreme attention to detail and excellent written communication skills for justifying code evaluations
• Comfortable reading technical documentation and language specs
• Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous, low-oversight remote environment
• Valid documentation to work as an independent contractor in an accepted country
