This includes rigorous unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability, efficient deployment strategies, and comprehensive monitoring techniques to maintain system health in a production environment. • • Key Responsibilities:
• • Deliver Resilient and Sustainable Software: You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of high-quality, scalable backend software solutions. This encompasses everything from initial concept and architectural design to final deployment and post-deployment support, ensuring that the software is not only functional but also robust and maintainable.
• • Execute on Outlined Projects: You will work diligently on assigned projects, contributing directly to the achievement of team-level goals. This involves independently defining the most effective technical solutions or skillfully leveraging existing approaches to overcome challenges and deliver successful outcomes.
• • Take Ownership and Drive to Completion: A core aspect of this role is taking full ownership of your commitments. You will be expected to follow through on tasks, take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of your work, and ensure that projects are delivered on schedule. • • Engage Actively in Agile Processes: You will be an active participant in our Agile development ceremonies, including planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Collaborating closely with the engineering manager and product manager to refine requirements and improve team velocity is expected.
• • Develop and Support High-Quality APIs: A significant part of your role will involve designing and implementing robust, scalable, and well-documented APIs that will be consumed by other internal teams. Ensuring these APIs are secure, efficient, and meet the needs of their consumers is paramount.
• • Drive Cloud Integration and Serverless Adoption: You will implement and integrate cloud solutions, with a strong preference for AWS. This includes leveraging serverless architectures and services to build efficient and cost-effective solutions.
• • Work with Distributed Systems and Event-Driven Architectures (EDA): You will contribute to the development of scalable and resilient distributed systems, gaining hands-on experience with event-driven architecture patterns to build loosely coupled and fault-tolerant applications.
• • Utilize and Manage NoSQL Databases: You will be involved in the design, implementation, and management of data storage solutions using NoSQL databases, such as DynamoDB, understanding their strengths and appropriate use cases.
• • Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Principles: You will learn and apply domain-driven design concepts to effectively model complex business domains, leading to more maintainable and understandable software architectures.
