📋 Description

• Own the Capacity product end to end, including scoping, design, implementation, and iteration based on feedback from internal stakeholders across Capacity, Sales, and SRE teams
• Translate complex operational requirements from non-engineering teams into clean, ergonomic product experiences that streamline high-stakes workflows
• Build and maintain full-stack features across the Capacity toolchain, including UI surfaces, APIs, and backend services using NextJS, JavaScript, Postgres/Drizzle, and Tailwind
• Identify and eliminate workflow bottlenecks and manual processes throughout the capacity fulfillment lifecycle through targeted tooling and automation
• Instrument all developed features with observability and monitoring systems to proactively surface issues before they escalate into incidents
• Partner closely with SRE and Infrastructure teams to ensure the Capacity platform accurately reflects the operational reality of the GPU fleet, not just the desired state
• Drive improvements to internal systems that balance supply and demand for AI inference capacity, directly unlocking revenue and improving customer SLA adherence
• Work directly with stakeholders to understand their needs, define solutions, and ship software that removes friction from critical internal operations
• Take full ownership of systems that are slow, manual, or error-prone — proactively fixing them without waiting for formal requests
• Build internal tooling and operational platforms in a high-growth, infrastructure-heavy environment focused on AI/ML model deployment and scaling
• Maintain a high ownership mindset: notice what is broken, fix it, and follow through until resolved
• Contribute to a platform used by AI companies like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, and Writer to bring cutting-edge models into production

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent owning a product or internal platform end to end
• Strong full-stack proficiency with NextJS, JavaScript, Postgres/Drizzle, Tailwind, and AWS
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with non-engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into product decisions
• Experience building internal tooling, operational platforms, or developer infrastructure in high-growth or infra-heavy environments
• High ownership mindset: proactively identify and resolve broken processes without prompting
