📋 Description
- • As a Software Engineer in Cloud Infrastructure at Beacon AI, you will design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable AWS-based systems that power mission-critical AI platforms for aviation safety and efficiency, directly contributing to Department of Defense contracts and airline partnerships.
- • Day to day, you will provision and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CDK, build CI/CD pipelines for ML and application services, operate LLM endpoints via Bedrock or SageMaker, design RAG pipelines with vector search (OpenSearch, pgvector), implement observability and cost governance, enforce security and compliance controls, and collaborate with product teams to integrate AI capabilities into user-facing features.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in ML infrastructure, AWS cloud architecture, and secure AI systems while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge LLM platforms, vector databases, and IoT edge integration — positioning you as a leader in AI infrastructure for high-stakes environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience with core AWS services including VPC, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, S3, ECS/EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, and SageMaker
- • Proven ability to design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK
- • Experience building and operating LLM-powered applications in production, including RAG systems, prompt versioning, and chain orchestration with LangChain or similar frameworks
- • Comfortable building data ingestion and transformation pipelines in Python using Glue, Athena, EventBridge, and SQS
- • Security mindset with practical application of least privilege, secrets management, network isolation, and compliance practices for sensitive data
- • Ability to drive end-to-end ownership from design through production, including on-call responsibilities and continuous improvement
