Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition

📋 Description

• • As a Software Engineer on Speechify’s Data Infrastructure & Acquisition team, you will play a critical role in enabling the company’s AI-driven text-to-speech products by building and scaling the data pipelines that power model training for over 50 million users worldwide.
• • Day to day, you will be scrappy in identifying and ingesting new audio data sources, operate and extend cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform, collaborate with AI scientists to optimize data quality, throughput, and cost, and help shape the dataset roadmap for next-generation consumer and enterprise products.
• • Speechify is a fully remote, fast-growing company of nearly 200 people, including engineers and researchers from top tech firms and academic institutions, united by a mission to eliminate reading barriers through innovative audio technology recognized by Apple and Google.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in large-scale data infrastructure, cloud engineering, and AI data workflows while contributing directly to products that support individuals with learning differences such as dyslexia, autism, and low vision, and grow your impact in the high-growth intersection of AI and audio technology.
