📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer, Data Platform at Profound Technologies Inc., you will design, build, and scale the infrastructure that powers data across the organization, enabling teams to leverage AI-driven insights for marketing intelligence.
• You will architect scalable platforms, develop tools for data ingestion and transformation, and build governance and observability systems that support data scientists, analytics engineers, and machine learning engineers in delivering impactful analytics and ML-powered features.
• Profound is a fast-moving, venture-backed AI marketing platform used by Fortune 500 companies and innovative tech firms, with a mission to help brands understand and control their AI presence in an era of AI-powered search.
• You will work on meaningful problems at the intersection of AI and marketing, own and shape the early-stage data platform, and grow your expertise in scalable data systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a high-autonomy, impact-driven culture.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience building platforms for engineers and data scientists in areas such as product analytics, experimentation, data discovery, data quality, observability, or governance and access control
• Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed data systems
• Expertise with analytics and lakehouse technologies including ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake, or Iceberg
• Strong cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with data governance, reliability, and secure data operations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering and product teams

• Competitive base salary range of $140,000 to $260,000 (NYC and SF)
