📋 Description
- • As a Software Engineer on the Dev Tools team at Polymarket, you will own and improve the developer experience across APIs, SDKs, and documentation, directly impacting how external developers build on the world’s largest prediction market platform.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include improving API and SDK quality, reducing time to first success for external developers, partnering with engineering teams to enhance usability, debugging developer issues, gathering feedback to guide improvements, and driving high-impact Dev Tooling initiatives with autonomy and measurable results.
- • Polymarket is a fast-growing, peer-to-peer prediction market platform that enables individuals to trade on real-world events across politics, economics, sports, and culture, aggregating diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities — with $21B traded in 2025 and a mission to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in developer experience, TypeScript/JavaScript and strongly typed languages, SDK/API design, and AI-augmented engineering workflows, while building a track record of meaningful improvements that accelerate external adoption and integration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong engineering skills with a track record in TypeScript and/or JavaScript, plus at least one strongly typed compiled language (Rust, Go, C#, Kotlin, Swift, or C++)
- • Experience building or maintaining SDKs, APIs, or developer documentation
- • API and SDK fluency: understanding what makes developer-facing interfaces clear, consistent, and easy to integrate
- • Developer experience judgment: recognizing friction quickly and improving workflows in ways that feel natural to developers
- • Strong written communication and close attention to interface and documentation quality
- • Consistent, demonstrated use of AI tools over the last 6+ months as part of your engineering workflow
