Software Engineer, Developer Experience

📋 Description

• • As a Software Engineer on the Developer Experience team at Notion, you will play a critical role in enhancing the productivity and satisfaction of internal engineers by building and improving the tools, frameworks, and workflows they rely on daily. Your work directly impacts the speed, reliability, and quality of software development across the company, enabling engineers to focus on innovation rather than tooling friction.
• • Day to day, you will collaborate with engineers across teams to identify pain points in the development lifecycle, improve tooling such as the TypeScript language server, linting systems, and the Notion CLI, optimize CI/CD pipelines on GitHub to ensure pull request validation completes within 15 minutes, and maintain and evolve the internal development environment and toolchain.
• • You will join a mission-driven company that values in-person collaboration, with Anchor Days (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) required in the Hyderabad office, fostering strong teamwork and real-time problem-solving.
