- • As a Software Engineer focused on Device Hardware at Flock Safety, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and quality of the company’s safety technology products by building and maintaining the software that powers manufacturing validation and testing.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include writing and owning Python scripts for device testing and validation, developing automation to interface with Android systems, Qualcomm processors, and microcontrollers, and using Python and Bash to build and execute test suites that verify hardware functionality.
- • You will work within a high-performance, low-ego engineering team at Flock Safety, a company trusted by over 5,000 communities, 4,500 law enforcement agencies, and 1,000 businesses, dedicated to building proactive crime prevention technology with a strong emphasis on privacy and innovation.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in hardware-software integration, scalable test automation, production monitoring via Datadog, and validation data management using Postgres and AWS, enabling you to architect systems that support next-generation product development and ensure every device performs exactly as intended.
