- • As a Software Engineer in the Escalation team at Semperis, you will serve as the critical technical bridge between customer-facing Support teams and the core R&D organization, directly impacting customer satisfaction and product reliability by resolving high-severity, complex technical issues in on-premise cybersecurity environments.
- • Your work ensures that mission-critical identity protection solutions remain operational for enterprise clients, preventing downtime and security gaps by diagnosing root causes and implementing precise code-level fixes that are integrated into future product releases.
- • Day to day, you will perform deep-dive root cause analysis on escalated customer issues originating from Support, leveraging logs, system behavior, and reproduction scenarios to isolate defects in complex distributed systems.
- • You will develop, test, and deploy targeted bug fixes and hotfixes in C# within the Semperis product codebase, ensuring changes are minimal, safe, and aligned with engineering standards while addressing urgent customer needs.
- • You will troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-level problems in Linux environments, including Kubernetes orchestration and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch clusters, diagnosing configuration, performance, and compatibility issues affecting product functionality.
- • You will analyze and resolve advanced technical challenges involving network communication, database interactions (SQL/SQL Server), and legacy protocols such as WCF, often requiring deep protocol tracing and inter-service communication debugging.
- • You will act as a technical liaison, communicating findings, timelines, and resolutions clearly to Support, Customer Success, and sometimes directly to enterprise client technical stakeholders, translating complex engineering details into actionable insights.
- • You will collaborate closely with R&D engineers to ensure fixes are properly integrated into the main codebase, participate in triage meetings, and contribute to improving product stability through feedback on recurring issue patterns.
- • You will maintain documentation of investigation steps, fixes applied, and lessons learned to support knowledge sharing across teams and improve future escalation handling efficiency.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in backend development using C# and the .NET framework.
- • Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and Kubernetes (K8s) for deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting containerized applications.
- • Proven experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, including cluster health monitoring, query troubleshooting, and integration debugging.
- • Strong background in database troubleshooting (particularly SQL Server) and experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) for diagnosing service-to-service communication issues.
- • Fluent English is required for effective communication with global teams and technical clients; additional language skills are a plus.
- • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including writing clear incident summaries and presenting findings in cross-functional meetings.
