- • As a Software Engineer - Frontend at Weave Communications, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping how local businesses connect with their communities through intuitive, high-performance desktop applications. Your work directly impacts customer experience by enabling seamless interactions between service providers and their clients, making technology more accessible and human-centered.
- • You will own the end-to-end development of features for Weave’s desktop clients, leveraging modern web technologies like TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS to build scalable, maintainable user interfaces while contributing to shared platform libraries that power multiple products.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate within a cross-functional agile team comprising product managers, backend engineers, and fellow frontend engineers, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to deliver incremental value with ownership and autonomy.
- • You will write, test, and maintain high-quality, reusable UI components and application code, ensuring long-term maintainability through rigorous code reviews, performance tuning, and adherence to best practices in frontend engineering.
- • You will communicate regularly with other teams to align on API contracts, dependency timelines, and technical decisions, acting as a bridge between frontend implementation and backend services through clear documentation and proactive coordination.
- • You will actively contribute to a culture of technical excellence by mentoring peers, sharing knowledge in team forums, and advocating for improvements in tooling, testing strategies, and developer experience.
- • You will engage in continuous learning by staying current with evolving web platform standards, experimenting with new frameworks and techniques, and applying insights to enhance application performance, accessibility, and user satisfaction.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience developing rich web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Ember.
- • Proven experience building high-performance, reusable UI components and consuming RESTful APIs in production environments.
- • Strong debugging skills and familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress.io for unit and end-to-end testing.
