- • As a Mid-Level Front-End Engineer at Dataminr, you will contribute to an established, high-performance team building cutting-edge threat intelligence solutions powered by AI, where your work directly enables users to detect and respond to critical global events in real time through intuitive, high-performance interfaces.
- • You will build reactive, reusable Angular components using TypeScript, HTML, and LESS; prototype new features with designers and UX engineers; develop services connecting to RESTful APIs using RxJS for reactive data streams; write unit tests with Karma/Jasmine; review code from peers; and continuously improve code quality through tooling, documentation, and process enhancements.
- • You will join an autonomous, Agile team based in Romania that collaborates closely with US-based colleagues, values input from all members regardless of seniority, and follows Agile software delivery methodologies to ensure rapid, sustainable innovation.
- • You will deepen your expertise in modern Angular (including Angular 19+, Signals, and Standalone Components), master reactive programming with RxJS, contribute to a shared component library, and grow as a collaborative engineer in a global, mission-driven environment focused on AI-powered real-time intelligence.
- • You will measure and resolve performance bottlenecks using Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, and WebPagetest; share knowledge in monthly First Friday Workshops; and help shape front-end architecture decisions that impact how Dataminr delivers life-saving insights to Fortune 50 and Fortune 100 clients worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2-3+ years of proven experience as an Angular Developer
- • Experience with HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
- • Practical understanding of common design patterns
- • Comfortable with Git (version control, branching, merging, rollback)
- • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- • Knowledge of secure software development practices
- • Unit-testing experience
- • Experience working in an Agile team-driven process
