📋 Description

• Architect and own the next-generation micro-services that power 2.2 billion daily requests and 2 billion instant notifications across 450+ servers, ensuring sub-second latency for Fortune 500 brands like Samsung, Nike, L’Oréal and IKEA. You will be the technical owner of critical backend components that directly influence the experience of millions of end-users and the revenue of global marketing teams.
• Design, implement and continuously evolve high-throughput RESTful and gRPC APIs in Go (primary) and Node.js/PHP Laravel (secondary), handling 100 TB of historical data and 25 % of global users without breaking a sweat. Your code will be the backbone of our AI-driven personalization engine, ingesting and serving data at internet scale while maintaining strict SLAs.
• Tackle gnarly performance bottlenecks in distributed, data-heavy systems—think PostgreSQL query tuning, Redis caching strategies, and horizontal scaling patterns that keep our AI-driven personalization engine humming at peak efficiency. You will profile, benchmark, and refactor until every millisecond counts, turning complex data pipelines into lightning-fast services.
• Champion clean, testable, and idiomatic Go code backed by rigorous unit/integration tests, automated CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments on Kubernetes, raising the bar for engineering excellence across 30 global offices. Expect to set coding standards, lead design reviews, and push the envelope on reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with Product, Data Science, and DevOps squads in agile, cross-functional teams located in Istanbul and Ankara, translating ambitious product visions into rock-solid backend services that delight marketers worldwide. You will be the bridge between high-level business goals and low-level technical execution.
• Mentor junior engineers through pair-programming, code reviews, and brown-bag sessions, cultivating a culture of curiosity, psychological safety, and relentless improvement that turns good developers into great ones. Your influence will ripple across continents as you help shape the next generation of Insider One engineers.
• Monitor, alert, and optimize key performance metrics (p99 latencies, error budgets, throughput) using Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing, ensuring our platform remains the #1 leader in every capability quadrant. You will own the observability story and turn raw metrics into actionable insights.
• Contribute to architectural RFCs, drive proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies, and experiment fearlessly—because at Insider One we don’t wait for opportunities, we create them. Whether it’s evaluating a new service mesh or prototyping a serverless data pipeline, your curiosity will be rewarded.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience writing production-grade Go, including concurrency patterns, memory management, and idiomatic error handling
• Proven track record designing and operating distributed systems at scale (≥1 M requests/day) with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of micro-service architecture, REST/gRPC API design, and event-driven patterns
• Nice-to-have: hands-on experience with Node.js or PHP Laravel, Terraform, and cloud-native observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger)
