- • As a Software Engineer on the Identity team, you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing the core platforms that safeguard user access and ensure data confidentiality for our enterprise customers. This is a dynamic and impactful role where you will tackle complex technical and product challenges, contributing directly to the security and integrity of our platform. You will be instrumental in building features that address critical enterprise needs, including advanced authentication and authorization mechanisms, robust user account security protocols, and sophisticated encryption key management solutions.
- • Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation and deployment. You will have the opportunity to design and build innovative product features tailored for enterprise clients. This includes developing AI-powered anomaly detection systems to combat payment fraud and account takeovers, implementing granular access control policies to manage user permissions effectively, and integrating bring-your-own-key (BYOK) encryption solutions to provide customers with enhanced control over their data security. Your work will directly impact the trust and security posture of some of the world's most forward-thinking organizations.
- • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with cross-functional product managers, designers, and customer-facing teams to deeply understand user requirements and translate them into elegant, scalable technical solutions. A significant aspect of your role will involve engaging directly with the security teams of our enterprise customers, such as those at Discover, Snowflake, and Anthropic. This interaction will provide invaluable insights into their specific security needs, risk assessment methodologies, and the operational challenges they face, allowing you to build solutions that truly resonate and provide tangible value.
- • Furthermore, you will champion secure development practices across the engineering organization. This involves building essential guardrails, developing robust tooling, creating standardized frameworks, and implementing automation to empower fellow software engineers to ship secure code confidently. Your efforts will be crucial in preventing vulnerabilities from ever reaching the main branch, thereby maintaining the highest standards of platform security. You will also contribute to the development of scalable and performant frontend applications and components, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for our customers.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 1 year of professional software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in software development principles.
- • Proven experience in developing and deploying web applications and APIs in production environments.
- • Familiarity with our technology stack, including Python, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL, is highly desirable.
- • Experience in enterprise SaaS, fintech, or a deep understanding of software security best practices and compliance frameworks is a significant plus.
