- • Software Engineer II at Contrast Security, Inc. focused on building and maintaining robust data platforms to power business intelligence and in-product reporting tools, playing a key role in the company's data modernization strategy.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data feeds for BI reporting and core product features, contributing to data platform modernization, performing deep data analysis to resolve technical issues, ensuring high-quality design, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the development lifecycle, maintaining internal product areas for stability and performance, and mentoring newer team members and interns.
- • The team at Contrast Security is dedicated to redefining how organizations protect their software at the speed of modern development through industry-leading Application Detection and Response (ADR), enabling real-time threat detection, prevention, and remediation.
- • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with modern data platforms, deepen your expertise in scalable backend systems and data engineering practices, contribute to impactful security technology, and grow as a technical leader through mentorship and ownership of complex, end-to-end solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5 years of experience building modern, scalable, and high-performing backend web applications
- • Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL
- • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
