• • As a Software Engineer II on the Cloud Storage team at Crusoe Energy Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company that powers the most demanding AI workloads from electrons to tokens. Your work will directly enable scalable, high-performance storage solutions that support the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, making this role critical to Crusoe’s mission of accelerating the abundance of energy and intelligence.
• • You will contribute to engineering projects focused on cloud storage features by collaborating with product and engineering teams to define and execute roadmap initiatives, ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business objectives in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include writing and delivering sustainable, production-ready software, contributing to design documentation, and participating in the qualification and rollout of software across the full stack — from bare metal infrastructure to user-facing APIs — ensuring reliability, performance, and security at every layer.
• • You will actively engage in architecture discussions, design processes, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation tasks, applying rigorous engineering standards to build fault-tolerant, scalable storage systems with capabilities such as replication, encryption, backups, and data protection.
