- • As a Software Engineer III specializing in React Native at PDI Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing mobile applications that power global convenience retail and petroleum brands, directly contributing to improved customer engagement, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making through platforms like GasBuddy.
- • You will design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable React Native applications for iOS and Android, ensuring seamless user experiences, optimal performance, and adherence to best practices in mobile development while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include writing clean, testable, and efficient code using React Native and related technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux, React Navigation), conducting code reviews, debugging complex issues, optimizing app performance (memory, load times, battery usage), and integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- • You will participate in agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, while helping to define technical specifications, estimate effort, and ensure timely delivery of features aligned with business goals.
- • You will mentor junior developers, share knowledge through tech talks and documentation, and advocate for engineering excellence by promoting coding standards, automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React Native mobile application development for iOS and Android.
- • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, with deep understanding of React Native core concepts, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and navigation libraries (e.g., React Navigation).
- • Proven experience optimizing mobile app performance, including memory usage, launch time, and battery efficiency, using tools like Flipper, Xcode Instruments, and Android Profiler.
- • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, handling asynchronous data flows, and working with backend services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
- • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, React Native Testing Library), and agile/scrum methodologies.
