• • As a Software Engineer in Test at Loopio, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our enterprise platform. This role is pivotal in maintaining user trust and driving product excellence by owning the end-to-end testing process for critical product areas. You will be a key contributor to our dynamic engineering team, collaborating with Product Managers and Designers to architect and deliver cutting-edge features that are utilized by some of the world's leading organizations. • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities focused on quality assurance and test automation. You will take complete ownership of the testing lifecycle for assigned feature areas, which includes meticulous test planning, rigorous execution of test cases, and the development and maintenance of robust automated test suites. A significant part of your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining automated UI test suites using Playwright, with a strong emphasis on creating solutions that are both reliable and scalable. Furthermore, you will be responsible for building and maintaining API tests to thoroughly validate backend services, intricate integrations, and complex data flows, ensuring the integrity of our system's architecture. You will actively engage in requirement reviews and design discussions, proactively identifying potential testability gaps and providing valuable feedback to the development team to ensure quality is built in from the outset. Analyzing test results, diligently investigating any failures, and collaborating closely with developers to efficiently resolve issues will be a core part of your workflow. You will also contribute significantly to the team's overall automation framework, developing and enhancing utilities and shared libraries to promote reusability and maintainability across the team. Your expertise will be called upon to assist in defining and refining QA standards, best practices, and overarching test strategies within the team, helping to elevate the collective quality engineering capabilities. Finally, you will provide crucial support during release cycles, conducting thorough regression testing and employing risk-based prioritization to ensure a stable and high-quality product deployment.
