📋 Description

• Lead key engineering and product decisions for the Speechify iOS app, which is ranked #18 in the App Store Productivity category and recognized with Apple’s 2025 Design Award for inclusivity.
• Actively ship production code for the iOS app, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant features that serve over 50 million users.
• Work within a dedicated product team to design, build, and refine core product functionality aligned with user needs and business goals.
• Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, contributing technical insights and user-centric perspectives to guide feature development.
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex iOS app architecture, ensuring long-term stability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate user feedback and design concepts into high-fidelity, intuitive iOS experiences.
• Implement and optimize multithreaded programming patterns to ensure smooth performance and responsiveness in audio playback and text processing workflows.
• Utilize Swift and SwiftUI to build modern, declarative UI components that deliver a seamless and accessible user experience.
• Integrate and manage CI/CD infrastructure using Fastlane to automate testing, signing, and app store deployments.
• Apply SOLID principles to write clean, modular, and testable code across all classes and modules in the iOS codebase.
• Manage code versioning and collaboration using Git, adhering to established branching and merging strategies to support team velocity.
• Work in a fully remote, high-growth startup environment with a flat organizational structure where leadership is earned through technical excellence and consistent delivery.
• Engage in a fast-paced development cycle, balancing speed with focus to prioritize features that deliver maximum user impact.
• Contribute to a product that empowers users with learning differences such as Dyslexia, ADD, Low Vision, Concussions, Autism, and Second Language Learners by transforming text into accessible audio.
• Receive direct user feedback from individuals who describe the product as life-changing, reinforcing the mission to remove barriers to reading.
• Work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and audio technology, contributing to one of the fastest-growing sectors in tech.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Swift programming language
• Experience with SwiftUI for building iOS user interfaces
• Proven experience with multithreaded programming in iOS applications
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane for app deployment
• Demonstrated understanding of SOLID principles and ability to apply them in production code
• Experience with Git and familiarity with team-based Git workflows
