- • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the Speechify iOS app, which is ranked #18 in the App Store Productivity category and recipient of Apple’s 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity.
- • Actively ship production code for the iOS application, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software delivery.
- • Work within a dedicated product team to collaborate on feature development, technical architecture, and user experience improvements.
- • Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, influencing direction through technical insight and customer-focused thinking.
- • Maintain and enhance the existing complex iOS app architecture, ensuring stability and performance as the user base grows.
- • Build and refine user experiences that delight millions of users, including individuals with learning differences such as Dyslexia, ADD, Low Vision, Concussions, Autism, and Second Language Learners.
- • Contribute to a fast-paced, remote, and asynchronous environment where speed, focus, and execution are critical to success.
- • Engage in technical decision-making grounded in SOLID principles, writing clean, modular, and testable Swift code.
- • Utilize SwiftUI for building modern, declarative user interfaces across the iOS application.
- • Implement multithreaded programming techniques to ensure smooth performance and responsiveness in audio-heavy features.
- • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane and other automation tools to streamline app deployment and testing workflows.
- • Maintain codebase integrity through disciplined use of Git and adherence to established branching and merge strategies.
- • Ship products from inception to scale, with a proven track record of delivering features that drive user growth and retention.
- • Demonstrate customer obsession by prioritizing user feedback and impact in every technical decision, including cases where users report life-changing experiences with the product.
- • Balance strategic thinking with rapid iteration, knowing when to ship quickly and when to invest in long-term architectural improvements.
- • Operate in a flat organization where leadership is earned through technical excellence, consistent delivery, and strong communication.
- • Work on a product at the intersection of artificial intelligence and audio, transforming how people consume written content through text-to-speech technology.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in Swift programming language
- • Experience with SwiftUI for building iOS user interfaces
- • Demonstrated experience with multithreaded programming in iOS applications
- • Hands-on experience with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane for app deployment
- • Strong understanding of SOLID principles and ability to apply them to class design
- • Experience with Git and familiarity with common Git workflows and strategies
