- • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the Speechify iOS app, which is ranked #18 in the App Store Productivity category and recipient of Apple’s 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity.
- • Actively ship production code for the iOS application, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant features that serve over 50 million users.
- • Work within a dedicated product team to design, build, and refine core functionality of the iOS app, including text-to-speech playback, document parsing, and user interface enhancements.
- • Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, collaborating with designers and product managers to prioritize features that improve accessibility and user experience.
- • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture using modern iOS development practices and clean code principles.
- • Apply SOLID principles to write maintainable, testable, and scalable Swift code, ensuring each class adheres to architectural best practices.
- • Implement multithreaded programming techniques to optimize performance, responsiveness, and resource management in a high-traffic audio application.
- • Integrate and manage CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane to automate testing, building, and App Store deployments.
- • Utilize SwiftUI for building responsive, declarative user interfaces that deliver a seamless and intuitive experience across iOS devices.
- • Work with Git and follow established branching and collaboration strategies to support a distributed, high-growth engineering team.
- • Engage in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where speed, focus, and ownership are critical to delivering results.
- • Contribute to a product that directly supports users with learning differences such as Dyslexia, ADD, Low Vision, Concussions, Autism, and Second Language Learners, enabling them to access reading material through audio.
- • Receive direct user feedback from individuals who describe the product as life-changing, with many sharing emotional stories of how Speechify transformed their ability to learn and work.
- • Operate in a flat organizational structure where leadership is earned through technical excellence, consistent delivery, and strong communication.
- • Collaborate with a global team of engineers, AI researchers, and founders from companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Stripe, Vercel, and Bolt.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in Swift programming language
- • Experience with SwiftUI for building iOS user interfaces
- • Proven experience with multithreaded programming in iOS applications

- • Demonstrated understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture in iOS development
