- • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the Speechify iOS app, which is ranked #18 in the App Store Productivity category and recognized with Apple’s 2025 Design Award for inclusivity.
- • Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS application, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant features for over 50 million users.
- • Work within a dedicated product team to design, implement, and refine core functionality of the iOS app, including text-to-speech playback, document parsing, and user interface enhancements.
- • Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, collaborating with designers and product managers to prioritize features that improve user experience and accessibility.
- • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture using modern iOS development practices, ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability.
- • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following SOLID principles, with every class designed to adhere to these architectural guidelines.
- • Implement multithreaded programming techniques to optimize performance, responsiveness, and resource management in a high-concurrency audio processing environment.
- • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane to automate builds, testing, and App Store deployments, ensuring rapid and reliable release cycles.
- • Utilize Swift and SwiftUI to build native iOS interfaces that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with Apple’s design standards.
- • Work with Git using established branching and collaboration strategies to coordinate development across a fully distributed, high-performing engineering team.
- • Contribute to a fast-paced, results-driven culture where speed, focus, and customer obsession are paramount—shipping quickly while maintaining quality.
- • Engage with users who rely on Speechify for learning support, including individuals with Dyslexia, ADD, Low Vision, Concussions, Autism, and Second Language Learners, directly impacting their daily lives.
- • Operate in a flat, asynchronous organization with no physical office, where leadership emerges from technical excellence and consistent delivery.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for native iOS development
