- • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the Speechify iOS app, which is ranked #18 in the App Store Productivity category and recognized with Apple’s 2025 Design Award for inclusivity.
- • Actively ship production code for the iOS app, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant features that serve over 50 million users.
- • Work within a dedicated product team to design, build, and refine core functionality of the iOS application.
- • Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, influencing direction through technical insight and user-centric thinking.
- • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture while ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability.
- • Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate user needs into intuitive, delightful experiences that support learners with dyslexia, ADD, low vision, autism, concussions, and second-language learners.
- • Apply Swift and SwiftUI to build modern, responsive UI components that align with Apple’s design principles and accessibility standards.
- • Implement multithreaded programming techniques to optimize performance for audio processing and real-time text-to-speech rendering.
- • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane and integrate automated testing and deployment workflows to ensure rapid, reliable releases.
- • Adhere to SOLID principles in all codebases, writing clean, modular, and testable classes that support long-term team scalability.
- • Utilize Git with established branching and collaboration strategies to coordinate development across a fully distributed, global team.
- • Work in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment where speed, focus, and ownership are critical to delivering results.
- • Contribute to a culture of innovation by proposing and shipping ideas quickly, distinguishing between what can be released immediately and what requires deeper iteration.
