- • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the Speechify iOS app, which is ranked #18 in the App Store Productivity category and recipient of Apple’s 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity.
- • Actively ship production code for the iOS application, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant features that serve over 50 million users.
- • Work within a dedicated product team to design, build, and refine core functionality of the iOS app, including text-to-speech playback, document parsing, and user interface enhancements.
- • Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, influencing feature prioritization and user experience direction based on technical feasibility and customer impact.
- • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture using modern iOS development practices and clean code principles.
- • Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and AI researchers to deliver seamless, inclusive experiences for users with learning differences such as Dyslexia, ADD, Low Vision, Concussions, Autism, and Second Language Learners.
- • Optimize app performance through multithreaded programming, memory management, and efficient resource handling to ensure smooth audio playback across diverse device models.
- • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane to automate testing, signing, and App Store deployments with minimal manual intervention.
- • Apply SOLID principles to all codebases, ensuring each class is modular, testable, and maintainable in a rapidly evolving codebase.
- • Utilize Swift and SwiftUI to build responsive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces that align with Apple’s design guidelines and accessibility standards.
- • Manage source control using Git with proficiency in branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative workflows in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
- • Work in a high-growth startup culture that values speed, focus, and ownership—balancing rapid iteration with long-term architectural integrity.
- • Receive direct user feedback from individuals whose lives have been transformed by the product, including stories of emotional impact and improved learning outcomes.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in Swift programming language
- • Experience with SwiftUI for building iOS user interfaces
