📋 Description

• Lead key engineering and product decisions for the Speechify iOS app, which is ranked #18 in the App Store Productivity category and recognized with Apple’s 2025 Design Award for inclusivity.
• Actively ship production code for the iOS app, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant features that serve over 50 million users.
• Work within a dedicated product team to design, build, and refine core functionality of the iOS application.
• Participate in product discussions and contribute to shaping the product roadmap based on user needs and technical feasibility.
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex iOS app architecture while adhering to SOLID principles and clean code practices.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver user experiences that delight users and address accessibility needs for individuals with Dyslexia, ADD, Low Vision, Concussions, Autism, and Second Language Learners.
• Optimize multithreaded code to ensure smooth performance during text-to-speech playback and background processing.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane to automate builds, testing, and App Store deployments.
• Use Swift and SwiftUI to build modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that align with Apple’s design guidelines.
• Employ Git with established branching and merge strategies to manage code collaboration across a fully distributed team.
• Balance speed and focus in a high-growth startup environment, knowing when to ship quickly and when to invest in long-term architectural improvements.
• Contribute to a culture of ownership, where technical excellence and consistent delivery are the primary drivers of leadership.
• Receive direct user feedback from individuals whose lives have been transformed by the product, including stories of emotional impact and improved learning outcomes.
• Work in one of the fastest-growing sectors at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Audio technology.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Swift programming language
• Hands-on experience with SwiftUI
• Experience with multithreaded programming in iOS applications
• Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane
• Demonstrated understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture
• Experience with Git and established Git workflows
