📋 Description
- • As a Software Engineer IV on the BIDE platform, you’ll serve as a technical leader for the systems that power ALSAC’s enterprise analytics ecosystem, with true end-to-end ownership from architectural design through production stability on a mission-critical BI platform supporting decision-making at scale.
- • You will lead the design, build, and evolution of complex, high-scale data and software systems while partnering closely with Enterprise Architecture, Product, and Engineering teams, balancing delivery, reliability, and long-term platform health.
- • ALSAC is one of the world’s most iconic and respected nonprofits, dedicated to helping St. Jude cure childhood cancer, where your background, perspective, and desire to make an impact set you apart as part of a mission-driven family.
- • In this role, you can learn and achieve technical authority, architectural influence, and operational excellence by mentoring junior engineers, driving platform modernization, and introducing emerging technologies that improve sustainability and scalability of data systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems development, and large-scale technical design
- • Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale data platforms in both on-prem and cloud environments
- • Deep expertise in SQL Server / database engineering, including performance tuning, reliability, and troubleshooting long-running or blocking workloads
