- • As a Software Engineer (.Net) at ICF International, you will play a central role in driving innovation and using technology to enhance connections through multi-channel experiences, specifically supporting the Department of Defense’s Child and Youth Programs (CYP) that improve mission readiness, morale, and retention for military families.
- • Day to day, you will work in a full life-cycle software engineering environment, conducting code reviews, implementing unit and integration tests, developing REST APIs and frontend features using .NET and React/Angular, owning smaller components of larger projects, and fostering asynchronous communication in a remote setting while stepping up to lead initiatives.
- • You will join a dynamic, experienced team at ICF—a global advisory and technology services provider—that delivers end-to-end solutions for complex government challenges, combining deep expertise with cutting-edge technology to help clients navigate change and shape the future.
- • In this role, you can deepen your expertise in full-stack .NET development, gain hands-on experience with modern DevSecOps practices, contribute to mission-critical federal systems, and grow into technical leadership by bringing new ideas, tools, and techniques to the team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- • 3+ years of full stack software engineering experience with strong understanding of best practices, design patterns, clean code, and unit/integration testing
- • 2+ years of .NET development including REST API development
- • 2+ years of frontend development with frameworks such as Angular or React (React preferred)
- • 1+ years of experience writing and debugging SQL queries and building applications that integrate with relational databases such as SQL Server
- • 1+ years of experience with Entity Framework or equivalent ORM technologies
- • 1+ year of experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Must reside in and perform work within the United States
- • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green card holder) due to federal contract requirements
