• • As a Software Engineer on the Platform team at Speechify, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers text-to-speech products used by over 50 million people worldwide, ensuring reading is never a barrier to learning.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs (including public TTS, payment, subscription, auth, and consumption tracking), overseeing the full backend API landscape for performance and maintainability, collaborating on B2B solutions for enterprise clients, and aligning backend architecture with product strategy and user experience through close work with cross-functional teams.
