📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of high-impact product features for Europe’s leading private-sale travel platform, serving 30 million members across 7 countries. You will design, build, and operate resilient micro-services that power everything from flash sales to AI-driven personalization engines, directly influencing conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
• • Translate ambitious product visions into secure, scalable code. You will start with high-level specs from Product Managers, break them into technical epics, and deliver production-ready services written in modern PHP 8 / Symfony or Node.js, backed by MySQL, Redis, and Kafka. Every commit you push is automatically tested, scanned for vulnerabilities, and deployed to Kubernetes clusters on AWS within minutes.
• • Champion incremental architecture. You will continuously refactor legacy monoliths into domain-oriented services without disrupting live traffic. Your architecture decision records (ADRs) and system design documents (SDDs) become the blueprint that 60+ engineers rely on to maintain velocity and coherence across squads.
• • Guard reliability like a craft. You will instrument code with OpenTelemetry traces, set SLOs in Datadog, and own your on-call rotation. When latency spikes or error budgets burn, you lead blameless post-mortems that turn incidents into durable fixes—reducing MTTR from hours to minutes.
• • Debug fearlessly across the stack. From CDN edge rules to database query plans, you will trace elusive bugs using distributed tracing, flame graphs, and real-user monitoring. Your root-cause analyses feed back into better tests, safer deployments, and happier customers.
• • Collaborate daily with cross-functional partners. You will pair with Data Scientists to productionize ML models that predict member preferences, sit with QA to design property-based tests, and join Product in user-research sessions to understand the real-world impact of every feature toggle.
• • Elevate the craft of those around you. Through thoughtful pull-request reviews, weekly tech talks, and structured mentoring, you will help junior engineers level up while learning from senior peers. Your reusable libraries and shared GitHub Actions templates accelerate every squad.
• • Measure what matters.
