Software Engineer - Product Security

📋 Description

• • As a Software Engineer in Product Security at Allstate, you will design, build, and operate enterprise security controls as software products that are embedded directly into the technology ecosystem to enable secure-by-default behaviors while minimizing friction for product teams.
• • Day to day, you will own the full software development lifecycle — designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and supporting production code; applying engineering best practices like TDD, paired programming, and CI/CD; collaborating with product and platform teams; and continuously evaluating new technologies to improve security effectiveness and usability.
• • You will join the Product Security Engineering organization, a team dedicated to creating scalable, reliable, and developer-friendly security capabilities that protect families and their belongings by integrating security into the core of Allstate’s enterprise technology stack.
• • In this role, you will grow your expertise in secure software development, distributed systems, and security engineering while contributing to measurable outcomes in control adoption, system reliability, and reduction of security risk — with opportunities to advance to Lead or Expert levels based on demonstrated leadership and technical impact.
