• • Software Engineer - Security role focused on building embedded security controls as digital products integrated into Allstate’s technology ecosystem to enhance security and developer experience across the SDLC.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in ideation of security controls, delivering full-stack development work, utilizing paired programming and test-driven development, establishing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating across product portfolios with product managers and stakeholders.
• • Part of Allstate Information Security (AIS), which is launching three new engineering teams to advance embedded security product strategy, supporting a company with over 90 years of innovation in protecting families and advancing safety technologies.
• • Opportunity to grow technical expertise in cloud-based distributed systems, microservices, Agile XP methodologies, and security frameworks while mentoring engineers and influencing cross-team architecture decisions at Lead or Expert levels.
