- • As a Software Engineer Senior Consultant II at Allstate, you will play a critical role in building and enhancing software products that protect families and their belongings, directly contributing to the company’s mission of innovation in insurance and financial protection through technology.
- • You will own the full software development lifecycle—from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and support—ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that meet evolving customer needs in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems using modern engineering practices, including test-driven development, continuous integration, and paired programming, while advocating for simple, effective technological solutions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing architectural input, practicing paired programming and TDD, participating in strategy execution and iteration planning, serving as a domain expert on a specific technology stack, coaching junior engineers, establishing CI/CD pipelines, supporting software in production, leading daily standups, participating in retrospectives, and ensuring backlog clarity through active engagement in planning sessions.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3 or more years of professional experience in C# and .NET development
- • Proven experience publishing consumer-facing APIs and integrating with third-party vendor APIs
- • Demonstrated experience in FinTech and/or e-Commerce, particularly with payment processing, ledgers, and transaction management systems
