Software Engineer – Support & Operations

📋 Description

• • The Software Engineer – Support & Operations is a full stack engineer focused on ensuring the stability, reliability, and recoverability of a production SaaS environment at ZeroRisk Compliance Programs, Inc. in Dublin. This role is critical for maintaining system uptime and enabling rapid resolution of production issues that directly impact customer experience and service trust.
• • Day to day, the engineer will triage and investigate production issues by querying logs, correlating events across services, and tracing problems from customer symptoms through Angular frontends, Java backends, and AWS infrastructure to identify root causes. They will implement targeted, tested code fixes, build and maintain internal tooling (such as log query utilities and diagnostic dashboards), update debugging playbooks after incidents, and evaluate new observability tools to improve team efficiency.
• • The team operates within a high-feedback, production-facing environment where engineers collaborate closely with Senior and Staff Engineers, report to a Scrum Master/Team Manager, and follow disciplined practices like diagnosing before fixing, documenting learnings, and escalating early when needed. • • In this role, the engineer will deepen their full stack expertise in Java and Angular, strengthen cloud infrastructure skills in AWS, develop advanced log analysis and incident response capabilities, and gain experience in building scalable internal tools and documentation — positioning them for growth into a Senior Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) track.
