📋 Description

• Design and implement multi-file software engineering tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and migration within production-like environments
• Write clear, precise natural-language specifications that define coding challenges and expected outcomes for AI training datasets
• Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using industry-standard frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing
• Create accurate reference implementations in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and optionally Java, C#, or Go to serve as ground truth for AI model evaluation
• Review peer-generated coding tasks and submissions for correctness, clarity, realism, and adherence to software engineering best practices
• Identify edge cases, ambiguities in requirements, potential failure modes, and inconsistencies between specifications and code outputs
• Ensure strict alignment between natural-language task descriptions, implemented code, and expected system behavior
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI training datasets by enhancing task complexity, realism, and pedagogical value
• Work remotely on a project-based, part-time basis with full control over schedule and workload
• Deliver high-quality, production-realistic coding scenarios that simulate real-world software engineering challenges encountered in professional environments
• Collaborate asynchronously with a global team of engineers to refine evaluation criteria and task quality standards
• Maintain consistent output quality across diverse codebases and programming languages while adhering to strict technical and linguistic guidelines
• Provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement
• Utilize own tools, environments, and development workflows without dependency on company-provided infrastructure
• Participate in periodic quality assurance cycles to validate task accuracy and alignment with evolving AI training objectives
• Contribute to iterative refinement of evaluation rubrics based on observed model performance and task difficulty
• Maintain professional written proficiency in English at an advanced level to produce unambiguous specifications and feedback
• Operate as an independent contractor eligible to provide services to other vendors simultaneously, subject to their policies

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced professional written proficiency in English
• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
• Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
• Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
