Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Software Integration Engineer at Havoc AI Inc, you will serve as a foundational member of a newly formed team dedicated to building critical integrations between command-and-control (C2) systems, communication platforms, and mission-critical software layers, directly enabling autonomous surface vessels to operate effectively in defense and commercial maritime missions. Your work will bridge technical layers to ensure seamless interoperability, supporting HavocAI’s mission to advance collaborative autonomy and prevent conflict through innovative technology.
  • • You will design, develop, and maintain robust integrations between C2 systems, communication stacks, and related infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in high-stakes environments. This includes building and extending HavocAI’s open-source SDKs to be production-ready, well-documented, and developer-friendly, while actively engaging with and nurturing the external developer community to drive adoption, contributions, and feedback loops that improve the ecosystem.
  • • You will model high-level abstractions and integration architectures that translate complex mission requirements into reusable, interoperable components, working closely with product, platform, and autonomy teams to align technical solutions with operational needs. Your contributions will shape internal standards for integration architecture and SDK development, establishing best practices that elevate the quality and consistency of HavocAI’s software ecosystem.
  • • You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a remote-first U.S.-based environment, leveraging Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to deliver integration solutions that are testable, deployable, and maintainable at scale. Your role combines hands-on engineering with strategic community engagement, offering a unique blend of deep technical work and outward-facing impact.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in systems integration, open-source stewardship, and defense-relevant software engineering while gaining exposure to cutting-edge maritime autonomy technologies. You will have the opportunity to influence the direction of HavocAI’s SDKs and integration frameworks, contribute to mission-critical capabilities that protect lives, and grow as a technical leader in a mission-driven, innovative culture that values ownership, integrity, and servant leadership.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Strong programming experience in Go and Python
  • • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing system integrations (APIs, SDKs, communications, etc.)
  • • Ability to model high-level abstractions and design integration architectures
  • • Excellent communication skills for collaborating across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

🏖️ Benefits

  • • 100% Employer-paid Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance for you and your family
  • • Life Insurance (Employer Paid)
