Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Solar Project Manager at FluidStack Inc., you will drive end-to-end delivery of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects from development handoff through commercial operation, owning budget, schedule, scope, and risk across civil, electrical, substation, gen-tie, and interconnection workstreams.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include building and owning integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, managing project budgets and cash-flow forecasts, reporting earned-value KPIs weekly, and leading construction managers, field superintendents, and project engineers across concurrent solar sites.
- • FluidStack Inc. is focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else by acquiring power, designing and building data centers, and operating them with extreme ownership, velocity, first-principles thinking, and a love of the game — all to ensure AI expands human freedom.
- • In this role, you will develop repeatable, modular construction processes that allow the hundredth solar site to be built faster and cleaner than the first, directly contributing to FluidStack’s mission of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI at unprecedented speed and scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Led project management on utility-scale solar or solar-plus-storage projects from NTP through COD, delivered on budget, and able to explain schedule pressures and resolutions
- • Understanding of civil, structural, electrical, BESS, substation, and gen-tie scopes to identify scope gaps at bid time and enforce contracts with EPC contractors
- • Experience managing project-level budgets, earned-value tracking, owner-controlled contingency, and change-order governance without compromising commercial position
- • Proven ability to manage interconnection milestones as critical path items and navigate CAISO, MISO, ERCOT, or PJM queue processes without letting them dictate schedule
- • Skill in communicating precise, context-appropriate updates to lenders, landowners, and field superintendents from the same status information
- • Experience building and scaling field-based project teams across multiple concurrent sites, with a track record of developing leaders who go on to run projects independently
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity)
- • Retirement or pension plan aligned with local norms
- • Health, dental, and vision insurance
- • Generous PTO policy in line with local norms
- • Base salary range of $160,000 - $250,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications
- • Opportunity to work on civilization-scale AI infrastructure with extreme ownership and high-impact problem solving
