📋 Description

• As a Senior Solution Architect at TechTorch, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge enterprise technology solutions for the world's leading private equity-backed businesses. • You will own the end-to-end technical solution design, encompassing critical workstreams such as AWS infrastructure, headless frontend architecture, and complex data integration initiatives. Your expertise will ensure that the designed platforms are not only scalable, secure, and performant but also strategically aligned with both immediate Minimum Viable Product (MVP) delivery requirements and long-term platform evolution goals.
• This position demands a strong consulting background, a high degree of comfort operating within ambiguous environments, and the ability to translate abstract business objectives into clear, actionable technical designs that can be executed across multiple, diverse teams.
• You will be instrumental in architecting high-traffic, consumer-facing web applications hosted on AWS. This includes providing architectural leadership for all aspects of the hosting environment, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, performance optimization strategies, robust security frameworks, and comprehensive observability solutions.
• A key responsibility will be defining and leading frontend architecture decisions. This involves a deep focus on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices, maximizing frontend performance, and ensuring seamless API-driven integrations to create a superior user experience.
• You will design and orchestrate intricate integration patterns across various systems, including APIs, middleware, and third-party applications within complex, distributed enterprise landscapes. This requires a holistic view of system interactions and dependencies.
• Furthermore, you will define robust data architectures and reporting pipelines. This includes designing and implementing cloud-native data flows and leveraging modern data warehousing solutions like Snowflake for advanced analytics, ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and actionable.
• Collaboration with delivery teams, engineers, and client stakeholders is paramount. You will work closely with these groups to ensure the successful implementation of your architectural designs, fostering alignment on technical decisions and tradeoffs.
• You will partner with teams exploring and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) use cases. This includes architecting agentic AI workflows, enabling decision automation, and integrating AI-enabled capabilities into the core platform to drive innovation and efficiency.
• A significant aspect of the role involves aligning Salesforce Commerce (whether B2C or B2B, including headless implementations) and broader Salesforce platform integrations with the custom-built architectures. This requires a nuanced understanding of Salesforce capabilities and constraints, ensuring seamless integration with our bespoke solutions.
• You will act as a proactive thought partner to clients and internal teams, consistently identifying opportunities for innovation, process simplification, and acceleration of delivery timelines. Your insights will drive continuous improvement and strategic advantage.
• This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of flagship, enterprise-scale transformation programs, working with some of the most sophisticated investors and operators in the private equity space.
• You will be part of a global team of senior engineering and architecture peers, collaborating across diverse technology ecosystems including AWS, frontend engineering, Salesforce, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture roles, with a strong consulting background.
• Proven experience designing and delivering consumer-facing web platforms on AWS.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of modern frontend architectures (e.g., React, Next.js, or similar).
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture principles, including security, CI/CD, observability, and performance tuning.
• Experience designing data and reporting platforms, with proficiency in Snowflake, Python, and SQL, and cloud-based data pipelines.
• Practical experience with AI/GenAI solutions, including exposure to agentic AI or AI-driven orchestration patterns.
