- • Serve as the strategic and technical backbone of cloud projects, acting as the face of technical expertise during the pre-sales phase.
- • Provide technical consulting in pre-sales by translating complex business requirements into feasible solution designs and convincing clients through deep technical knowledge and approachability.
- • Design robust, secure, and scalable software architectures for modern cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and SAP, and actively support their implementation in delivery projects.
- • Conceive and lead technical workshops on topics such as AI transformation and cloud strategy to demonstrate technological possibilities and establish the foundation for successful client partnerships.
- • Act as the critical link between technical vision and code implementation by hands-on supporting delivery teams, ensuring architecture quality through code and system reviews, and serving as a sparring partner for development teams.
- • Remain the primary technical point of contact for clients throughout project execution, identifying follow-up needs and emerging technological opportunities (e.g., legacy system replacement) and feeding these insights back to the sales team.
- • Collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and client teams to align technical solutions with business goals and ensure seamless project progression.
- • Apply a consistent "Security by Design" approach to build future-proof and resilient cloud systems.
- • Communicate complex IT concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, actively listening and mediating between diverse teams and client representatives.
- • Balance technical excellence with pragmatism, maintaining awareness of budget constraints and avoiding perfectionism in favor of actionable, scalable solutions.
- • Maintain up-to-date expertise in modern software ecosystems, cloud platforms, and CI/CD structures to deliver cutting-edge architectural guidance.
- • Operate with flexibility across remote, hybrid, or office-based work models within Germany, including locations in Magstadt, Darmstadt, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Ulm, Heidelberg, and Frankfurt.
- • Participate in company events including team gatherings, summer parties, and Christmas celebrations to foster team spirit and shared success.
🎯 Requirements
- • Several years of experience in a comparable role with roots in active software development or DevOps.
- • Deep understanding of modern software ecosystems and proven experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, SAP) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- • Strong interpersonal skills as a "People Person"—able to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences, listen effectively, and mediate between stakeholders.
- • Fluency in both German and English for clear and confident communication.
- • Commitment to a "Security by Design" mindset in all architectural decisions.
- • Ability to prioritize pragmatic, budget-aware solutions over theoretical perfection.
