  • • As a Solution Consultant II at New Relic, you will be at the forefront of empowering global companies to navigate and thrive in an increasingly complex, AI-first digital landscape. You will be a pivotal member of the New Relic Solutions Consulting (NRSC) team, leveraging a unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise to drive the adoption of New Relic's intelligent observability platform.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to deeply understand client business challenges and their existing technical environments through meticulous discovery and engagement. This understanding will form the foundation for presenting tailored technology solutions that directly address these challenges, building robust confidence in New Relic's capabilities by clearly articulating its value proposition and differentiators.
  • • You will act as the domain expert on New Relic, strategically removing technical objections throughout the sales cycle. By combining profound technical skills with sharp business insight, you will effectively demonstrate how New Relic delivers tangible business value, ultimately driving the 'Technical Win' in key accounts.
  • • This role is instrumental in driving revenue growth for the New Relic platform, working in close partnership with Sales Account Executives, Product Management, and executive leadership. You are expected to be a hands-on solution consultant, capable of engaging broadly and deeply in solution positioning, differentiation, and value articulation during sales cycles.
  • • As the technical lead for both prospective new logos and existing customers, you will own the technical strategic direction within assigned accounts. This involves developing, positioning, and delivering product-centric and value-centric solutions that align with customer initiatives and business objectives, all while contributing to the achievement of quarterly and annual sales goals for your territory.
  • • You will partner closely with Sales Account Executives to generate new revenue streams. This involves taking full technical ownership of opportunity pursuits, from initial qualification through to closing, for new customer acquisitions and for expanding New Relic's footprint within existing accounts by introducing new groups or capabilities.
  • • The ideal candidate possesses a compelling combination of business and technical skills, enabling them to present and demonstrate New Relic solutions effectively to diverse audiences, ranging from IT professionals to business stakeholders. Building strong relationships and adeptly handling technical objections and issues are critical to success.
  • • Ultimately, you will serve as a trusted advisor, not only to your internal New Relic colleagues but also to the technical customers and C-level executives you engage with, fostering long-term partnerships and driving mutual success.
  • • Key responsibilities include developing profound expertise in New Relic products and services, partnering with sales for effective technical and business qualification of prospects and expansion opportunities, and leading value and solution discovery workshops to uncover customer pain points.
  • • You will craft compelling technical proofs through dynamic demonstrations, insightful presentations, interactive workshops, and persuasive business value assets. These efforts will be crucial in aligning New Relic's solutions and value proposition with customer initiatives, needs, and business challenges, securing buy-in and support for proposed strategic and technical solutions.
  • • Furthermore, you will develop and present provocative points of view to illustrate the current and future potential of customers standardizing on the New Relic platform, and successfully execute proof-of-concept and pilot engagements to tangibly showcase New Relic's value proposition against customer business metrics and outcomes.
  • • Identifying and resolving critical business and technical issues raised by customers, partners, and internal teams will be a core function. You will directly contribute to achieving the revenue goals set for your assigned territory.
  • • Collaboration is key; you will work as part of a broader account team to strategize and address complex business and technical problems. You will actively share and learn best practices and reusable assets with other Solutions Consultants to enhance team efficiency and quality.
  • • Providing valuable feedback to the product management team regarding product enhancements that can address emerging customer needs and drive additional value is also expected. Staying current on competitive analysis and market differentiation will ensure New Relic maintains its leading edge.
  • • Building strong, lasting working relationships with key customer stakeholders and executives is paramount, helping to cultivate New Relic champions within the customer base. You will also support marketing initiatives, which may include speaking at industry events, delivering executive briefings, participating in user groups and conferences, and securing customer references and social media endorsements.
