📋 Description

• The Solutions Engineer is a critical member of the Product team, responsible for enabling the integration and optimization of Janes interconnected intelligence capabilities across the customer base, with direct impact on national security and defence capability.
• Day to day, the role involves supporting the integration of Janes data into customer systems, providing technical advisory services, advising on ontology and model development, conducting gap analysis, supporting presales and bid responses, and contributing to strategic expansion and market intelligence efforts.
• Janes equips defence, government, and industry leaders with objective, accurate, and shareable data and analysis, combining advanced technology with proven tradecraft to deliver validated and contextual intelligence for threat assessment, decision acceleration, and change anticipation.
• The role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Janes technical estate, including its graph knowledgebase and intelligence products, while developing expertise in defence and intelligence sectors, working in agile global teams, and contributing to high-impact customer and partner projects across APAC.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in data integration, system interoperability, and technical advisory roles - ideally within defense and intelligence sectors
• Proficient in Python, including SDKs, APIs, and data engineering best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, ArangoDB, GraphDB)
